I forgive you past for you only did what you knew best at the time.

I forgive the heartaches some of which I created or disregarded what I knew within.

I forgive you thoughts of despair and feelings of not belonging for how I let you enter self-pity and isolation.

I forgive you for all the pain I let you endure.

How I failed to ensure that you were safe and secure.

The physical toll I took on you to try to get ahead without knowing where I was going. You didn't deserve sleepless nights and long days leaving you weary.

I forgive you for the self-neglect that was bestowed upon you.

How you were never exposed to what self-care meant.

I forgive you for harsh words and roots of unworthiness.

How you should have been uplifted, encouraged, and nurtured.

I forgive you for allowing others into your space that didn't earn the right to be there or were allowed to overstay.

I allowed you to be exposed and to be overly vulnerable which was taken advantage of many times over.

Selfish, selfish I was so selfish yet lacking the innerstanding of what selfish even meant.

I never told you and now is the time.

I love you and forgive you for you are the lessons of my history.

As I honor the version of you that has grown from the seeds of yesterday's.

I'm grateful for your perseverance, self-awareness, strength, confidence, boundaries, and all the freedoms of being uniquely you.

I congratulate you for wanting and accepting nothing less than the best as you so truly should and will have.

I admire you self as you are everything I could have hoped and dreamt you to be.

I breathe in your greatness.

Thank you for giving me life.

Peace, Blessings, Love and Light
