We have endless opportunities to change our thoughts. If all we worry and think about are mistakes that we have made, or things that have gone wrong then we're not helping ourselves. We can choose to focus on what we have done right, the progress we have made, what we have learned, and how to live in our purpose. When we let our mind drift into negative criticisms over the past what do we really hope to gain or accomplish? If we want to feel better about ourselves we have to continuously practice thinking positive thoughts. We have situations that occur in our lives that may influence how we feel, but these feelings should be for the moment. However, in that moment we can also choose to find something to be happy about that will lift our spirits thus lifting our mood while refocusing our attention. Our minds are powerful as we have the ability to alter our present state by thinking positively. We can direct our attention to areas that provide us with comfort, warmth, hope, and love. Instead of centering on the past that can't be changed, minor areas that we made into a big deal, or faults that we've placed on ourselves. We have the ability to change our thoughts, and when we actively change our thoughts at the onset of negative thinking we strengthen our ability to focus on what matters.

Peace, Blessings, Love and Light
