The Endless Quest

Living in the past is the false quest to what you know now, and who you are as you have grown. We can say we wish we knew this information when we were younger as our lives would have changed miraculously into a false reality that we've seen on television. What difference would it have made if in your younger years you were given the information when the reality is you may not have listened or really understood the content. Most likely you thought you had it figured out, and knew it all as you were living your life your way especially after becoming of legal age. You can't live in the past nor can you assume that things would have gone different if only you knew what you grew to learn with maturity and self-awareness. What you're going through or have been through in life doesn't have to have a negative lens. If you equate a better life to what you've seen on television or compare your life to others then maybe you haven't grown as much as you may think. Maybe you are continuing to miss the same lesson that you did in your younger years. Your life is your life once you accept it. No two roads are the same yet we share similarities. Embrace your journey and respect yourself as you continue to move in life. If your life was meant to be different then it would be.
