Shame can creep in at any time and lower your mood and how you interact with others. What shameful deeds do you still carry around? When we look back at our lives we may have acted selfishly or without thought and the consequence was shame. Have you ever started a sentence with "I'm ashamed to say"? Have you engaged in conversation and the topic leads to a situation that occurred which you can relate to and you become uncomfortable or flush? Shame leads to self-doubt, fear, sadness, feelings of powerlessness, worthlessness, humiliation, and it lowers your energy . When thinking of our shame we often don't want to talk about it as we begin to get emotionally wound up. Think about it and why you continue to allow the negative baggage of your history to affect you negatively. The pressure to remain unexposed, or feeling that others will persecute you over your past may only be held within your mind. Maybe for some you have been judged by others which influenced you to avoid exposure in the future. In any instance maybe someone else was projecting their shame onto you as they could relate without admission. Your past is just that your past, and only you can let your past go in order to embrace this day.
Peace, Blessings, Love and Light
