Rain on Me

Oh it's raining! Rain may be viewed as a nuisance and an inconvenience when you have plans to be outside, but now you have to alter your plans and remain indoors because it's raining. Rain may hinder you with traveling as your flights may be canceled or flooding occurs and other means of transportation are halted. Rain is just in the way today! Why did it have to rain? Whatever your displeasure with rain, rain can never occur at the wrong time. Rain comes when it's needed as it is always on time. Rain cleanses the earth and it provides the main resource for crops to grow and for plants, trees, and flowers to bloom. What can grow without rain water in nature? Some utilize rainwater as a means of essential nourishment to hydrate naturally, or because it is an only option for clean water. Animals rely on rainwater as well mammals and creatures residing in the ocean, lakes, ponds, and rivers. Thus rain is life-sustaining. Rain may also be "hindering" your movement as it's necessary for you to remain where you were as it wasn't meant for you to travel or go outdoors. Maybe what you needed was to focus on your household, family, reconnect with friends, or simply take a break. Maybe the rain is providing you with an opportunity to explore a hobby, finish a task, or learn something new via a book or the internet. Maybe it's meant for you to reflect on your life, priorities, or make plans. For some it's the perfect time to nap, watch a movie, play a game, or even enjoy the rain and go outside and appreciate its goodness. It's not a gloomy day when it rains nor is it an inconvenience as the rain comes for many reasons and can help to aid us with fulfilling our daily purpose.
