I tend to gravitate towards talking about peace, because maintaining peace is an ongoing situation. Throughout the day there are numerous times that we're faced with external situations that attempt to disturb our inner peace. It's important for me to express the significance that peace has inside of our lives, as when we are peaceful we are able to view the world and interact with its inhabitants from a place of love and compassion. When we reside in peace we are able to radiate peace into the atmosphere affecting others we encounter. When we reside in peace we don't allow others' actions or words to interrupt our peace. Although at times we may shake a little based on the circumstances, yet we collect ourselves and grasp our peace, and let go of any thought that's not coming from a place of peace. Peace is important to our overall well being as when we are living outside of peace we are exposed to everything that could disrupt our health and functioning. We then become susceptible to anger, fear, rejection, frustration, impatience, ego dominant thinking, and emotional imbalances to name a few. Simply put we're not our best when we are not at peace. For some the ability to maintain peace is "easier", however for others it's an ongoing process. Use whatever means you're comfortable with as you reenter your focus on peace. If a mantra, phrase, or breathing exercise works for you then proceed. If you have to change your process then do so as often as needed in order to stay peaceful. However this is not to state that people are out to get you, or that people are intentionally coming to steal your peace as this would be your perception. Your mind is powerful, and you have to watch your thoughts as well in order to maintain your peace. Don't be afraid to be a work in progress the key is your progress. Keep at it and keep your inner peace.
Peace, Blessings, Love and Light
