I did it again! The moment when you slip back into old habits a cycle you've tried hard to break. Start, stop, put yourself down, start, stop, and put yourself down some more. As you can't seem to comprehend how your back at the start because you've messed up yet again. You've been eating more healthier and the weekly treat turns into a daily must have as your cravings are strong. You then begin to berate yourself and feel down as you were doing good and now you have failed. However, instead of getting on track with your healthier eating lifestyle you simply stop as you no longer feel its worth it. You came to a conclusion that your current job is not fulfilling and you want to pursue your passion and you have begun to put in job applications for positions that are in alignment with your passion, however you didn't get the jobs that you interviewed for and think maybe it's not worth it so you stop applying. You think you are better off just earning a paycheck and maybe you were making the wrong decision which is why you didn't get any of the jobs that you interviewed for. No one said the road to self fulfillment was going to be easy nor should it be. How can we appreciate what we have if we didn't earn it? How do you grow beyond mediocre to your highest potential if you just accept what is because you dont want to do the work? It does no good to put yourself down because you have reached another hurdle to overcome which you are fully capable of doing. Yes, you didn't stick to your lifestyle change but that doesn't mean you can't start from where you are at any moment. Putting yourself down or even quitting doesnt help nor lead to the changes that you want for your life. Perseverance is key and moving forward once you realize you took two steps back can catapult you many steps ahead.
Peace, Blessings, Love and Light
