During times of discomfort we may remove ourselves from interacting with others, or engage in more activities to distract us from our pain. The pain that we feel when we cope as best we can with grief and loss. Thus this changes our behaviors and interactions with others. Our once held beliefs may face shifts as we process what has occurred and how we can move forward from our recent circumstances. For some the thought of moving forward seems far away as the pain causes feelings of immobilization and uncertainty. For others the need to figure this shift out is centered on as things must continue once the pieces are put back together. However, when doing so it may be found that the pieces create a different puzzle as change has occurred. Change is a result of our ability to move beyond pain into our present reality and life that must go on. We remember and we make progress with moving forward a little each day. Making the decision to stay in discomfort or face change as we move beyond what once was to what now is requires strength. A strength you can find in Faith, Hope, and Love.
