Head-first

Sometimes you want something so bad as you have prayed many days for, and hoped daily for your desires to come true so much so that when something that appears to be what it is that you have been asking for comes across your past you jump in head-first assuming that this is what you've been waiting for. However sometimes this immediate need for gratification, which is symbolized by our wants turns out to be false hope. Sometimes we want things so bad that in our head we make things out to be more than what they actually are. We shape others to be who we want them to be as we never fully grasp who they are. We make situations line up perfectly in order to be the answered prayer to our needs, when in fact we don't take time to think before we commit. We need to take time to differentiate from an answered prayer to an impulse designed to fix, control, add to, or change our situations. Sometimes things do align with what we've been hoping for, but other times we find that we're right back to where we started because we were misled. However, we weren't misled at all as we were hopefully in the wrong person or situation. Patience will always be key. We can't force things to be what we want them to be in order to acquire anything or anyone that we feel may change us or our situation. Don't commit to jumping head-first based on an assumption that what you've been waiting for has suddenly appeared without any evaluation. Yes, your prayers and hope's may become reality, but not always at the time that you believe. Sometimes we have to wait and discern from what is our doing, and what isn't. Sometimes we need to grow and find comfort in patience before we get what we've been waiting for.
