Forgiveness

Forgiveness is not something that you do to condone others words that you internalized with feelings of pain, shame, or embarrassment. Forgiveness is not an action step that you take to support behaviors that have offended you or caused you physical, mental, and emotional harm. Forgiveness is about reclaiming your power by removing the stronghold that the past conduct of others has left imprinted on your life. When you practice forgiveness you let go of what was and move forward with all that is yet to come. You acknowledge what happened and how you feel. Ask your "Higher Power" for support with removing the negative stronghold from your life. Forgiveness does not mean that you forget, however, you choose how you revisit the past and how you live in present. You acknowledge that you have been hurt and that you forgive the individual(s) for their offense. By doing so you release the negativity that you have been harboring within and replace it with feelings of love and compassion. Forgiveness is about you and your well-being, however, its up to you to practice forgiveness in an effort to heal.

Peace, Blessings, Love and Light
