Often times when things happen that we are not pleased with we forget that its not always about us. Sometimes if not a lot of the times you are being used to help others along their journey being as though we all need others to assist us in our lifetime travels. We relish in the times that we can see how we have helped others, or know that what we are doing is contributing to others well being. We feel proud for being apart of something greater than ourselves as we took the time, energy, and effort to care about someone else. However, what about those times when we experience discomfort or we are placed in "unfortunate" situations by the actions of others. A car rear-ends us while were stopped at a red light, yet were safe and our car has damage that can be repaired or replaced. Is checking on the safety of the other party driving the car one of your first instincts or do you curse the world and the driver for their poor driving skills and how they could have killed you. However, what you didn't know was that the driver of the vehicle that struck yours has been struggling with addiction and that this would be the DUI that led to prison time, which eventually aided in the person becoming sober and getting their life on track. Just one of the many situations that happen daily where our temporary discomfort has an even greater purpose that we may not ever know, however we were able to provide assistance without the visual reward. The next time something happens and your ready to tell everyone "Why me?", "How could this be?", "This should not have happened!", and "I don't have time for this!". Take a deep breath and think Why Not Through Me?
Peace, Blessings, Love and Light
