Don't Let It Build

Don't let how you feel build up within you because you're ashamed, afraid, or worried how it will be perceived. Talk to someone trusted. Whatever you're feeling needs to be released in order for you to process and heal. Far too often we carry around our pains and at times think that someone else wouldn't want to be bothered with our thoughts. It doesn't matter what it is, if you're holding it within and you have an ongoing consistent turmoil you need to let it go. Talk to a trusted friend, relative, or professional if need be. There is nothing wrong with getting help as it is absolutely essential when we have thoughts, feelings, and emotions weighing down upon each step that is taken no matter how hard you try to deny it. Don't walk around with your burden and say it's my burden for me to carry alone. There's always someone who will listen to you all you need to do is to take the first step. Sometimes all that's needed in order to move beyond the issue is to vent without interruption, or to have a healing cry. Whatever it is that you've been holding on to or still dealing with it's time to release. Acknowledge that you have an area of concern that needs to be addressed. When you think of self care don't overlook your mental and emotional well-being. If it's been on your mind then it's time to get the beneficial help that you need.
