Against The Wall

Sometimes it feels that no matter what you do, you can't get out of the rut. The rut of life is when we face many challenges at once and become stressed, overwhelmed, overworked, and bothered. We become irritated that no matter what we do, more must be done. We think, how have our lives ended up like this? Where did we go wrong? Yet we forget all that we have done to make it here at present, standing against the wall. We see the obstacles, yet we find a way to overcome them; even when there are multiple hurdles to jump, we keep jumping. We forget about all we have done right as we become unattached to our progress and growth. Even with our backs against the wall and feeling like we are in a rut, we still stand. Yes, we're still making it through the challenges and will eventually become another notch on our belts. Feeling like you're up against the wall is discomfort, but you can make it through the rut. You can jump one more time over the hurdle and then another and another. Guess what? Your back is no longer against the wall as you made it through!
